I Love The Real Housewives - Beverly Hills Reunion Part 2

Hi everybody and thanks for stopping by. As I sit here puffing my electronic cigarette.....just kidding!
As I sit here I am dealing with the fact that The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is now over, except for a Lost Footage episode which will most likely be just OK. I really enjoyed this season and I am going to miss my Thursday nights in Beverly Hills. The one good thing is that I am pretty certain there will be is a season two.
Part two of the reunion aired last night and in my opinion, it delivered and yet it didn't. I was quite disappointed in how the Kyle and Kim Richard's storyline was wrapped up. Andy Cohen, you needed to push this one a bit more! Seriously, since when is Andy so gentle? Let me be clear, I was not waiting for Kim to be exposed as some raging alcoholic and see an intervention. That is private family business. But what about all of the things said by the sisters to each other in the limo? There were some pretty explosive comments thrown out there and I feel no closer to knowing what the heck is going on than I did that night. What was meant by Kim saying that Kyle stole her house? Why exactly was Kyle so upset at Kim? What did Kyle mean when she said that Mauricio treated Kim like a second wife? I think you see what I mean. Andy let the girls off way too easy with the "it's private" answer. It's really not once it's on the show. What happens in the tabloids, that is their business, but this was a storyline and one that in my opinion will never be finished.
I was touched at seeing the obvious love the sisters have for each other and I do pray that they work it out. I think Kim is definitely denying her problem, at least publicly and that is sad for them both. I found Kyle to be a little more forthright last night, admitting that she may be too hard on her sister but that's her style. I can understand that. Tough love is sometimes necessary, but on some people it just doesn't work. I think if Kyle finds a way to temper her actions towards Kim, they will make real progress in their relationship.
I am at the point where I am beginning to see the Camille vs. Kyle fight as humorous. One-second they each apologize and admit they were wrong, the next they are at each others throats again! I have a headache trying to figure this squabble out. Once again Camille seems genuinely sorry for her words and actions. Not in the case of Faye Resnick however, which is a little ridiculous considering Camille was in Playboy herself. I think calling Faye "morally corrupt" was a bit much and I hope that Camille apologizes at some point and puts this entire year behind her.
This reunion was probably the first one that I actually enjoyed seeing the husbands join in. Paul and Adrienne have such a great relationship, I love seeing them interact. I thought Russell seemed a little more comfortable and I was pleased to hear him acknowledge that he had been neglecting Taylor a bit due to work. Taylor had a pretty easy night as I am sure she is thankful for. Had conversations shifted just a little, (or edits) we might be talking a lot about Taylor today.
The real stars of the reunion were Lisa and Ken. Honestly is there a funnier duo in any Housewife franchise? These two are an extremely humorous and adorable couple. This makes the Cedric story even more difficult to write about. I admit it, he had me fooled. I thought he had true motherly affection for Lisa. But Kyle was right all along. Not only was he a liar and a fraud, he is pure scum. To basically threaten to blackmail Lisa and Ken by lying to the press, and fully knowing the show would be on television around the same time as this happened, was horrible. Lisa and Ken opened up their lives to this guy, gave him everything and this is the thanks that they get? For the record, in my opinion, there is no debate as to who was telling the truth here. Cedric's video clip just made it worse. How horrible that he compared himself to the couple's elderly, blind dog as well. Did you see the look on Lisa's face throughout this part? She looked very hurt. Did you notice Ken? Angry is saying it lightly. Lisa and Ken are strong and will be just fine, but there sure are some mean people in this world.
In closing, I would like to add that these are six very wonderful women and I would like to thank all of them for a great debut season. I can't wait to see the ladies next season, and I want to send them all lots of love until we see them again.

Great insight on the show, I think we agree on pretty much all of it. I know we have OC and NY coming, but I really loved watching these ladies and I am going to miss them a lot.

I thought it was kinda boring. Biggest shocker for me was Camille's statement about Alison and her prediction about Kyle's marriage truly being about her. I gained a little respect for her there, despite her continuous blaming of everything else.
I do think Kyle is jealous of Camille. I do think she interrogated Camille causing her insecurities to come out. I think Kyle is a bully and finally got caught out there without a net as seen in her clips with her sister. Kyle is in denial as much as Kim is. They put themselves in and I think like the roles they have. Kim the sick needy sister, Kyle the one that takes care of the sick on. But I do think Kyle keeps Kim in that sick role.
Lisa, I disagree with your need for unanswered questions like what did Kyle mean by this and what did ki mean by that and what about Maurico treating Kim as a second wife. I think their scenario is blatantly obvious. And getting into their past would be a therapy session I don't need to watch. I watch Intervention for that kind of entertainment.
Overall still love Adrienne and Lisa. Taylor bleh still give her and her husband 5 years before divorce
I personally respect Andy for not pressuring the sisters for explanations and info. I don't respect that he let Taylor off the hook for her underhanded ways. She deserved to be put in the hotseat for her nonsense
You're right, Taylor seemed like a non-entity. Which surprised me. Do you think it was the edit? Possibly the edition of the Cedric footage caused them to cut to much?
Maybe but that brings up another reason i wasn't fond of the reunion, after all that Lisa did for them, how could they have shown him in his attempts in an acting career. To me he used it for self promotion and i don't think that Bravo should have given him that.

LOL What you saw was an ad on the page by HubPages. I am definitely not a Mormom, although I know a few and they are wonderful people. I can see how you would think that with where it was placed. But Hub Pages puts whatever ads wherever they like, so us bloggers have to live with it! Now if I could get the Bedbugs ads off the page I'd be really happy!!

I was sad to see Beverly Hills come to an end too. These ladies have a very unique chemistry. I am looking forward to New York, although without Bethenny I am going to miss the levity she always brought. OC is fun but I hope we don't get more of Gretchen vs. Tamara because that was just so last season. I look forward to more of your blogs you do such good job and you are very fair.

I think you have to live in the OC to be part of the RHOOC.
WHAT FASCINATES ME IS THAT THEY ALL ACT AS IF THEY HAVE TONS OF MONEY WHEN THEY DON'T.
And now that we have watched RHOBH we KNOW who really has bucks!

Good day Lisa,
Let me just start by saying you have a lovely, genuine way about you that really comes across in your RHOBH blogs and I thank you for that!
To start with, I must totally agree with your assessment regarding the "husbands". I love these guys and not only did they show true love and affection for their spouses (even Russell), but I felt a graciousness towards Camille that was very chivalrous and "old fashioned".
As far as the Kim/Kyle drama, as long as Kim is not ready to tackle her addition problems, nothing can be said or done except we can pray that it resolves itself and she seeks help.
I love Adrienne! What a smart woman she is with a huge heart and her feet firmly planted on the ground. She and her husband have a fun and easy relationship.
Lisa and Kent are delightful, generous people! My only disappointment is that we did not get our Giggy fix!
Kim and Mauricio also have a lovely relationship and Mauricio is a true fence builder. Again, he was gracious towards Camille not just "for the business", I think he is just that way.
I was not expecting to like Russell and Taylor, but I found Russell more relaxed and that actually made Taylor seemed more relaxed.
I am going to miss these ladies more than any 1st season group of ladies. It is my opinion, that the RHOBH are cut from the same cloth as Carolyn & Dinna Manzo of RHONJ, what you see is what you get!
